Juancho Torres is a Colombian photojournalist focused on human rights, Indigenous communities, and border regions across Colombia.

 

With a background in Journalism and Media Arts, his work explores the social and environmental dimensions of global news, combining long-term documentary projects with daily coverage. His photography seeks to capture the heart of communities while shedding light on underreported stories and issues that matter.

 

Torres is a Senior Photojournalist for Latin America at Anadolu Agency, where he covers global news, environment, and feature stories. His professional experience also includes photo editing, photo desk coordination, and English–Spanish journalistic translation, allowing him to work fluently across international newsrooms.

 

His work has been recognized with POY LATAM 2019 (2nd Place, News Series), and he is an alumnus of
