A Record of the Pandemic

During the COVID-19 pandemic in Colombia, this work follows how the crisis entered everyday life. The photographs were made over time, in different regions and settings, observing how people adapted, endured, and cared for one another as uncertainty became routine. Rather than focusing on numbers or official moments, the work stays close to lived experience: quiet hospital corridors, altered public spaces, isolation inside homes, and small gestures of resilience. These images were shaped by time spent listening, waiting, and returning — allowing trust and intimacy to guide the documentation. This project is both a record of a historical moment and a reflection on how a society lived through crisis, placing human presence and dignity at the center of the narrative.
